Case 04/2015: ISIS Group

JUDGMENT AND ETHICAL CONCLUSSION

Dear Prosecutor, Executive Secretary and Jury Members of the International Buddhist Ethics Committee (IBEC) and Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights (BTHR), regarding the case denounced by the International Association of Maitriyana (IAM) against the guerrilla group ISIS, through the present statement, on day July 1, 2015, I put on record that the fourth case of the Buddhist Tribunal is concluded to analyze the violation of the Human Rights conducted by the group ISIS and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

After the huge amount of evidence presented and certified as valid it has proceeded with voting of eight Jury members, confirming that they all sentenced as “Responsible” to the guerrilla group ISIS for the serious crime of Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing and Crimes against Humanity but also on the charge of False Islam. Because these actions violate the ethical precepts of all the spiritual traditions of the world, such as abstaining from harming other human beings, it was considered that the ISIS violates completely the Human Rights of thousands of people and it is also an aberration with respect to the essential values of Islam. Concordantly, evidence has proved that guerrilla group ISIS not only enslaves and kills thousands of women and children, but it also betrays the Islamic religious law. In fact, as the cases of terrorist attacks on mosques demonstrate, ISIS is using a false Islam to attract those people thirsty of hatred and discrimination. In fact, most of the fundamentalist movements are committing a clear violation of Spirituality and the world peace, as evidenced by the violent acts perpetuated by Jewish fundamentalism or evangelical fundamentalism. However, in the case of ISIS group, the Islamic fundamentalism is a False Islam that is perpetuating Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing and Crimes against Humanity towards defenceless civilian populations, being a terrible act that is condemned by the main Islamic leaders in the world.

Therefore, the International Buddhist Ethics Committee and the Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights rules that the Spirituality created by the Master Siddharta Gautama, as a Path of Compassion and Mercy, must denounce the guerrilla group as Genocidal, simultaneously recommending the international community that consider it as a False Islam. This understanding shows that Islamophobia is as wrong as anti-Semitism, so its evanescence is a step towards the world peace among the peoples of the Earth, which cries out in pain for so much spilled blood.

Following in the footsteps of the Master Siddhartha Gautama, the International Buddhist Ethics Committee and Buddhist Tribunal on Human Rights has decided to proceed against the guerrilla group for causing both Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing and Crimes against Humanity and a damage to the Buddhist Spirituality, reason by which it has been possible to study testimonies which prove these horrific crimes that violate all international Human Rights Treaties.
