INDIAN BUDDHIST FEDERATION

The Indian Buddhist Federation (IBF), formerly called WBA, is aimed at promoting the development of Buddhist Spirituality in India.

PRINCIPLES

The Indian Buddhist Federation was created on December 21, 2012 by Master Maitreya Samyaksambuddha, assuming the will to evolve the Buddhist Path of Gautama or Buddha-Dharma-Sangha. To achieve its goals, the Indian Buddhist Federation maintains close ties of collaboration with Buddhist associations and schools throughout India in order that they are able to develop advanced Meditation trainings and recover the cultural and spiritual splendor of the Ancient Indian Buddhist Civilization.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the realization of Buddhist Councils to develop an updated and revolutionary vision of Spirituality.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes dialogue and synthesis among all the orthodox and heterodox strands that compound Buddhism, safeguarding the Wisdom of the great Enlightened Beings of history, and recognizing the validity of Theravada, Mahayana, Vajrayana, Navayana and Maitriyana.

The Indian Buddhist Federation criticizes the materialistic civilization and seeks the Humanity of the Future to be spiritually developed and socially just.

The Indian Buddhist Federation practices Social Action or selfless help service to all sentient beings, fighting against war, poverty, ignorance and pollution

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the Repatriation of Buddhist Temples and Monuments that were historically looted and appropriated by Brahmanism.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the elimination of all kinds of Apartheid or Discrimination in India, so it criticizes the treatment of the Dalit people and the tribal peoples, as well as denouncing the mistreatment of women.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the protection of the ancient languages of Pali and Sanskrit.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes that there are no human rights violations in India, so it criticizes the crimes of the Army.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the fulfillment of the rights of children in India.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes peace processes, not by only requiring the non-existence of paramilitary groups, but also requiring carrying out a peace agreement between India and Pakistan.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the Liberation of the peoples of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the realization of a Spiritual Dialogue between Buddhism and Islam.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes the publication of Buddhist texts through editorial linkages.

The Indian Buddhist Federation promotes ecological projects in India, such as tree plantation.
