ETHICAL NOTIFICATION ON LORD BUDDHA TRUST

Dear members of Lord Buddha Trust, hereby, on the day of October 15, 2015, the International Buddhist Ethics Committee notifies you that Param Anand has been found Responsible for the charges of Defamation, Slanders, Threats and Nationalism within Buddhism. In recent weeks “Lord Buddha Trust” has organized an event along with the accused, even though its members formally testified before our Committee that they regretted the attacks of Mr. Param Anand and that they had no relationship with him. This clearly demonstrates that they were lying before the International Buddhist Ethics Committee, which breaks with the spiritual vows they have signed with the organization “Maitreya Buddhist University”, pledging to represent it in India always in accordance with the directors. As Mr. Param Anand has committed serious offenses against the Buddhist Spirituality and he has shown no repentance, but on the contrary, therefore, he can be fully considered as a “criminal” in the eyes of the Dharma. This means that any kind of event that takes place together with him will be an act of complicity, but it is also a disdain for the ethical and spiritual integrity of Buddhism.

Given that Mr. Param Anand is discriminating against Buddhists by means of racist and nationalistic issues, and that this fact does not seem to care to the members of the “Lord Buddha Trust”, the International Buddhist Ethics Committee formally endorse the expulsion of this group as a member of organizations such as “World Association of Buddhism”, “Maitreya Buddhist University” and “International Association of Maitriyana”. These organizations have provided psychological, philosophical and political support to the members of Lord Buddha Trust, but unfortunately this will conclude due to the bad behaviour of this group, which has rudely failed in their signed spiritual commitments, despite never having shown bad intentions. If this group wants to be an accomplice of the discriminating Nationalism of Mr. Param Anand, then it should know that their behavior stains Buddhism.

Although the leaders of some Buddhist communities often discriminate against our organization for having its headquarters in South America, Argentina, we will continue to give our lives to embody the voice of compassionate wisdom that the world needs in order to survive. Our humanitarian work will never allow discrimination, always transmitting that the Buddhist Path is Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. Definitively, the only Cure for the ills of the world is the Interexistence of all beings, by joining and not discriminating to each other to struggle together for a better world.
